Occupational Therapy is a goal-directed service
We will work WITH YOU to achieve the goals you desire.
Initial Appointment
Your Occupational Therapist will begin with an initial assessment with you and your child. In this 90 minute session, we will explore your child's current capabilities within their routines and begin to define the goals you wish to achieve.
Together we will develop a structured plan into manageable steps in order to achieve desired outcomes.

1:1 Interventions
Our Occupational Therapy sessions can assist you in targeting therapy in the following areas:
Fine and Gross Motor Skill Development
Play Skill Development
Visual Motor skills
Self Care and Independence Skills
Sensory Processing Difficulties
Social-Emotional Development
School Readiness
Executive Functioning Development
Assessments ( Sensory Profile 2, Beery VMI, Stagnatti Play Skills Checklist, Movement ABC-2)
Equipment Prescription
Carer Training

External Consults
We collaborate with the other services that support you and your child, including; Allied health professionals such as paediatricians, speech pathologists, and psychologists, as well as GP's, Support Coordinators and Education Staff.

Letters and Reports
We are able to provide reports upon request.
These include:
Letters of Recommendation (1 hr)
NDIS Review Report (1.5 hr)
School Transition or ENQ Report (1.5 hr)
Beery VMI Report (2 hr)
NDIS Eligibility Reassessment Report (3 hr)
Movement ABC-2 Report (3 hr)
Sensory Profile Report (3 hr)
Please ensure you provide your therapist with at least 3 weeks notice to complete the above mentioned reports.

Resource Development
In order to support continued practice and development of goals outside of therapy sessions, we will create individualised resources and home packs/programs upon request.
