“An excellent and skilled occupational therapist who has engaged with my son through rapport building and in identifying his interests and using them to engage with him. My son is ASD L2, (PDA) and ADHD with some SPD. He was a flight risk and would run from anything he found remotely challenging or distressing, including his therapies. He now asks when he has an OT session next. Elise has written supporting NDIS reports, helped identify goals and has provided us with ways to help him cope in the classroom, help him in strengthening his fine and gross motor skills and liaising with teachers and the school PSD in SSG meetings- where she has been integral in helping staff to understand the needs of my son. Elise Jansen has played an enormous role in our sons progress and development. Elise is a kind, fun and wonderful OT and we are lucky and delighted to have engaged in her services as a clinician.
